Villa Beaumarchais Hotel - 5 rue des Arquebusiers 3rd Paris
Right in the heart of Marais, this immaculate and ambient hotel offers a charming physique and a friendly reception. Take in a full meal before heading out around town; there's lots to do in Paris! The rooms are very quiet without all the street-side noise you might expect from a Paris hotel. If you're interested in a change of pace, head over to the Chez Bastille for a fine meal, located near the hotel.

3rd Arrondissement of Paris - wikipedia
Situated on the right bank of the River Seine, it is the second smallest in area after the 2nd arrondissement. The arrondissement contains the northern, quieter part of the medieval district of Le Marais. The oldest surviving private house of Paris, built in 1407, is to be found in the 3rd arrondissement, along the rue de Montmorency.
3rd Arrondissement - wikitravel
A quieter part of the ancient Marais neighborhood which is centered in the 4th, the 3rd is possibly one of the best places to live in Paris. There are several good open air markets, a gigantic covered flea market, and lots of great speciality food stores, especially along rue de Bretagne.
