AA, The Automobile Association of the UK was formed in 1905 by a group of motorists who were concerned about regulations and road safety issues. The AA have taken the lead over many driving campaigns including - seat belts, lead-free petrol, and the repeal of fuel rationing.
The Automobile Association (The AA) was a British motoring association that became a private limited company in 1999, and is owned by two private equity firms.
The AA provides services to motorists: breakdown cover, car insurance, loans, travel insurance, route planning and motoring advice.
