Aruba Queen Beatrix International Airport (IATA: AUA, ICAO: TNCA) is located only 2.5 kilometers from the center of the capital Oranjestad, and is named after after Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, who is head of state of Aruba. The airport has good direct connections to many cities in the USA, South America, and Europe. Smaller cities in Europe can connect to Aruba via Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands. Very conveniently, the airport offers US Border Pre-clearance facilities.
