Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport (IATA: DPS, ICAO: WADD) is the main airport for the island of Bali Indonesia and is 13km south of the city of Denpasar, the capital of Bali. The airport takes its name from I Gusti Ngurah Rai, an Indonesian National Hero killed at the Battle of Marga. The airport is also close to the tourist areas of Southern Bali. The resort centre of Kuta is only 2.5km north of the airport. There are currently 2 main terminals – Domestic and International. Airlines using the domestic terminal include: Batavia Air; Indonesia Air Asia; Mandala Airlines; and Wings Air. Airlines currently using the international terminal include: Cathay Pacific; China Airlines; Japan Airlines; KLM; Korean Air; Qatar Airways; and Singapore Airlines.
