The Bellagio luxury 5 star Hotel is a 3,000 room hotel and casino located on the Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The hotel was conceived by Steve Wynn and Mirage Resorts to recreate the features and atmosphere of the Italian resort of Bellagio on Lake Como. In keeping with the Italian connection are the Bellagio Fountains, which are set to lights and music. The hotel was designed by notable architects Marnell Corrao Associates and Jon Jerde, and officially opened in 1998 at a cost of over $1.6 billion (and at the time was the most expensive hotel ever built). The hotel has some notable restaurants including - Le Cirque, Circo, Noodles, Fix, Picasso, Michael Mina, Jasmine, and Prime. The hotel contains a Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, which are full of exotic plants and semi-tropical flora. The hotel is also a preferred venue for many pro poker players who enjoy the high table limits and the World Poker Tour competitions, which are regularly hosted at the Bellagio.
