Boryspil Kiev International Airport (IATA: KBP, ICAO: UKBB) is situated 29 km (18 miles) east of Kiev, and is Ukraine's largest airport. Ground transport to Kiev City Center is provided mainly by taxi, shuttle bus, and public bus. A rail link is being constructed to connect the airport with Kiev central station. It is anticipated that this will be completed in time for the Euro 2012 football tournament to be held in Poland and Ukraine. The airport does not have many dedicated airport hotels and most visitors will travel by taxi or shuttle bus to hotels near the centre of Kiev. However, new airport hotels are planned as the airport is anticipating an increase in international and transit passenger traffic.
