Kozhikode, also known as Calicut, is a city in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It is the third largest city in Kerala and the headquarters of Kozhikode district. The main area of business was once the Valiyangadi (Big Bazaar) near the Calicut railway station and as time progressed it shifted to other parts of the city.
