Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco both in population and economic activity. Consequently the city is industrial with a heavy traffic problem. Th city is of course also famous for its role as the setting of Casablanca (film) the 1942 starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. The city is also the birth place of famous French actor - Jean Reno whose Spanish parents had moved to the city to find work, and escape the dictatorship of Franco.
