FAHRENHEIT. Temperature scale where water boils at 212 degrees above zero and freezes at 32 degrees above zero under normal atmospheric pressure.

Fahrenheit - wikipedia

Fahrenheit is a temperature scale named after the German-Dutch physicist Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit (1686–1736), who proposed it in 1724. In this scale, the melting point of water is 32 degrees Fahrenheit (written “32 °F”), and the boiling point is 212 degrees, placing the boiling and melting points of water exactly 180 degrees apart.

Travel Quote: The traveller was active; he went strenuously in search of people, of adventure, of experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes "sight-seeing". Daniel J. Boorstin.
