The Fairmont is a 591 room Hotel located in Mason Street, near the financial district, Union Square, and Fisherman’s Wharf. The hotel suffered serious fire damage during after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake but was quickly restored and only a year after the earthquake the hotel re-opened accompanied with a grand banquet and massive fireworks display. The hotel occupies a superb vantage point on Nob Hill with panoramic views of the city including iconic attractions such as - Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, Coit Tower, and The Transamerica Pyramid.
