Hampstead is situated approximately 4 miles north west of the centre of London. It is arguably best known for a large area of parkland - Hampstead Heath, and its intellectual, liberal, artistic, musical and literary connections - John Keats wrote his famous Ode to a Nightingale in Hampstead. The area is also home to some of the most expensive housing in London and, The village of Hampstead has more millionaires within its boundaries than any other area of the United Kingdom.
