Kuala Lumpur International Airport (IATA: KUL, ICAO: WMKK) is often referred to simply as KLIA and is the principal airport for Malaysia. The airport is about 50 kilometres (31 miles) away from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. The airport is one of the busiest in Asia and serves a big serves a big catchment area which includes, the Klang Valley Metropolitan Region, Greater Klang Valley, Shah Alam, Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and South Perak. Most international arrivals and departures are handled in Satellite Terminal A. Terminal to Terminal transfers are done via the KLIA Automated People Mover (Aerotrain). Transfers to Kuala Lumpur are mainly via the KLIA Express and the KLIA Transit train services. The express is a non-stop service which takes 28 minutes.
