Vancouver International Airport (IATA: YVR, ICAO: CYVR) is situated approximately 12 km (7.5 miles) from Downtown Vancouver. In 2009 it was officially the second busiest airport in Canada by aircraft movements behind Toronto Pearson International Airport. The airport is a strategic link to the Asian Pacific Rim countries and cities and has more Transpacific flights than any other airport in Canada. Thde airport is also a hub for Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and Air Transat as well as a focus city for WestJet. The airport has 3 main terminals - Domestic Terminal, International Terminal (includes a US Preclearance Annexe for US-bound flights), and South Terminal. The airport has won a number of prestigious awards including the Skytrax Best North American Airport award in 2010, and has been named, "The Best Airport in North America." The airport interior is designed with a British Columbian theme, and featues one of the most extensive collections of Pacific Northwest Coast Native art in the world. Ground transportation for the international and domestic terminals is provided by YVR–Airport Station, a terminus station of the Canada Line. For late night arrivals passengers can also use the N10 night bus. For passengers with an early departure time or who are on looking for business meeting accommodation near the airport there are some hotels nearby including Days Inn Vancouver Airport, and Airport Inn Vancouver.
