London Heathrow International Airport (IATA: LHR, ICAO: EGLL) is located in the London Borough of Hillingdon, 22 km; 14 miles west of Central London. It is the world's busiest airport for international passenger traffic, and is the world's second busiest airport in total passenger traffic. Heathrow is one of six airports serving the London area, along with Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Southend and London City. However, only Heathrow and City Airports are located within Greater London. The airport is managed by the British Airports Authority (now known as "BAA Limited") and is the primary hub of British Airways, BMI and Virgin Atlantic. The busiest routes out of Heathrow include: JFK (New York City); Dublin; Amsterdam; Dublin; Dubai; Hong Kong; CDG (Paris); Los Angeles; O’Hare (Chicago); and Frankfurt. Transfers to Central London from Heathrow are via Train/Underground, Bus/Coach, and Taxi/Car. TLD have regularly used the Heathrow Express, which is a non-stop train service directly to London's Paddington station. For late arrivals there is a Night bus N9 which operates to central London as some of the train services do not run through the night.
