Miami Airport (IATA: MIA, ICAO: KMIA, FAA LID: MIA) is situated eight miles (13 km) northwest of Downtown Miami. MIA is the 25th busiest airport based on servicing over 33 million passengers in 2009 and is the 12th busiest airport in the USA. The airport also handles a lot of cargo and is the main connection between Latin America and the World marketplace. Several airlines and air freighting companies use Miami as a hub including - American Airlines, Arrow Air, UPS Airlines and FedEx Express. To deal with this high level of passenger activity the airport has 9 Concourses – A B C D E F G H J. Ground Transport is mainly provided by a shuttle service to and from the Miami Airport and Hialeah Market Stations on the Tri-Rail commuter rail line. A new dedicated airport Metrorail station is due to open in 2011/2012. Other transport is handled by a combination of taxis, shuttle services, limousines, and rental. The airport has appeared in a number of movie and TV productions including regular scenes in Miami Vice, and the final chase scene in the 2002 film Big Trouble, which was filmed at MIA's Concourse C. In the 2006 James Bond film, Casino Royale, a major action scene was set at Miami International Airport. However, the actual scenes were shot at Ruzyn International Airport near Prague, Czech Republic.
