New York LaGuardia Airport (IATA: LGA, ICAO: KLGA, FAA LID: LGA) is located on Long Island in the City of New York, and is the closest to Manhattan among the three main New York airports. The airport was renamed named after Fiorello H. La Guardia, a former mayor of New York. LaGuardia has four terminals connected by a combination of buses and walkways. The terminals are Central Terminal Building (CTB), Delta Terminal, Marine Air Terminal, and US Airways Terminal. The principal transfer modes to Manhattan are by Bus and Taxi. There are several city bus lines which link LaGuardia to the New York City Subway and Long Island Rail Road. In popular culture the airport is the headquarters of the Men in Black in Men in Black: The Series which was based on the movie.
