Pattaya U-Tapao International Airport (IATA: UTP, ICAO: VTBU) it is located about 90 miles (140 km) southeast of Bangkok. The airport is shared between civilian and military users and serves as the U-Tapao Royal Thai Navy Airfield, home of the Royal Thai Navy First Air Wing. The most efficient transfer option is taxi or bus, which should take about 45 minutes to reach Pattaya City. The airport does not have any airport hotels as such with most visitors heading off to the beaches and tourist areas of Pattaya itself.
