Protaras. Nearest Airport - Larnaca LCA. Best Time to go – spring and summer. Protaras is situated in Paralimni Municipality and is a popular tourist destination. There are nice beaches with Fig Tree Bay the most well known. Protaras has been awarded the coveted EC Blue Flag in recognition of the fine quality of its beaches. Being quieter than Ayia Napa and having less of a club scene, it has a reputation of catering more for family and local Cypriot tourism.
