When checking in, pick up the hotel's business card. In the most confusing of cities, the cards often come with a little map to get you home if you get lost.

Pula - wikipedia

Pula (the city has an official Croatian-Italian bilingualism)is the largest city in Istria, situated at the southern tip of the peninsula. Like the rest of the region, it is known for its mild climate, tame sea, and unspoiled nature. The city has a long tradition of winemaking, fishing, shipbuilding, and tourism. Pula has also been Istria's administrative center since ancient Roman times.

Pula - wikitravel

Pula (Pola in Italian) is a nice town at the tip of the Istrian peninsula, Croatia. Once a predominantly Italian city, Pula was occupied by Yugoslavia in 1945 and formally annexed in 1947. At that time those Italians who had not already moved to Italy went into exile. Today there still is an Italian minority and many locals speak Italian. Pula has its own international airport with daily flights to Zagreb, and direct services from many European cities including Amsterdam, Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Oslo, Vienna and Zurich.

Pula Airport

Pula Airport is situated at the southest end of the Istrian peninsula. It's favourable climate makes it a good alternative airport for more weather bound airports. Also the main runway is 2950 m long which enables landings for wide-body aircraft.
