At that point, the current of the Gulf of Aqaba meets the Gulf of Suez. This confluence creates vast numbers of plankton and large schools of Barracudas and Sharks can be seen there every day.

The beach can be accessed by foot or by the free train and the tourist town of Naam Bay is easy to reach with the free shuttlebus. The hotel grounds are quite extensive, but because of the design it doesn't feel impersonal. The generous areas around the pools accomodate everyone comfortably, even when the hotel is at full capacity.
