Toronto - wikipedia

Toronto is the largest city in Canada, and the provincial capital of Ontario, located on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario. With 2.5 million residents, it is the fifth-most populous municipality in North America. Toronto is at the heart of the Greater Toronto Area, and is part of a densely-populated region in south-central Ontario known as the Golden Horseshoe.

Toronto - wikitravel

Toronto is known as a city of neighbourhoods. Distinct areas, often centered around a main street (Queen, College, Bloor etc.), are packed tightly together but each has something different to offer. It gets very cold during the winter and very hot and muggy in the summer. Fall is the best season. Toronto's public buildings are air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter, although the outdoors are significantly less climate-controlled.
