Warsaw Frederic Chopin International Airport (IATA: WAW, ICAO: EPWA) is located at 10 km 6 miles, south west of the city centre. The airport is name after famous Polish classical composer and virtuoso pianist Frederic Chopin. The airport is the busiest in Poland and handles over 50% of the country's air passengers. The airport currently handles over 100 scheduled flights daily and an increasing number of charters. London, Frankfurt, Paris and Amsterdam are the busiest international connections, with Kraków, Wrocaw and Gdask the most popular domestic ones. Ground transportation is mainly provided by car, municipal bus service or taxi. The airport does not have many dedicated airport hotels but there are a number within a short shuttle run of the main terminals. These include: InterContinental Hotel, Novotel Warszawa Airport Hotel, and Le Regina Hotel.
